Dissemination of Agricultural Information
The firm has an EXISTING MOU with Rumbek University of Science and Technology (RUST) to collaborate in offering training, during recess, on short courses in agriculture extension, agribusiness, appropriate technology, information technology among others. In that regard, WAP signed MoU on training with the University from March 2017 – December
2017. This MoU is renewed for till Dec 2018. Plans are under to have the MoU period extended from the current period to a longer period of time.
WAP recognized NALEP [National Agriculture and Livestock
Extension Policy.] as a living policy developed by the government alongside other important documentations e.g. CAMP[Comprehensive Agriculture Master Plan.]
Capacity Development of National Non governmental Organizations
Micro-finance for Rural Women, Youth, Small and Medium Enterprises (SME)
Performance is never magic but knowing what to do in a particular context. National Non-governmental Organizations need capacity in order to perform to the expectation of the government, donors, and beneficiaries. Areas to be covered include but are not limited to the following:

WAP Consultancy Firm Ltd envisions to share its knowledge and experience in the field of microfinance and credit in supporting innovative rural women and youth to effectively and efficiently run small and medium enterprises. Informal sector forms the bulk of South Sudan rural economy and thus contributes irrefutable aggregate to the overall national economy.
Many innovative women and youth have started with noble business ideas but could not progress due to inadequate startup capital as well as lack of knowledge and skills on how to successfully manage the enterprise activities. Therefore, WAP Consultancy presents itself to seize this vital opportunity to collaboratively get engaged in developing micro-financing and credit facilities for the continued benefits of the vast majority of the deserving women and youth in the Republic of South. WAP will source funding from government and donor institutions and thus provide support to SME initiated and managed by women and youth.
